The exposition "The Little People" has been created by the firm Naturexpo a/s, and showcases the Beavers life above and under the water.
We are proud to be able to open this exibition in the Beaver Municipality of Åmli, in our hunting and trapping museum of Elvarheim, in the summer season of 2014.
The North American Indians called beavers "The little people" because beavers sometimes resemble humans both physically and in their behaviour.
They build lodges and cut down trees, make channels and dams, eat bark and plants, live in family groups and usually mate for life.
We want to invite you to a unique experience where you can learn first hand about this furry and charming animal!
